This five-tray vermiculture system provides a structured environment for recycling kitchen scraps into nutrient-rich fertilizer. The vertical design allows worms to migrate upward through the mesh layers as they finish processing food in the lower sections. This setup simplifies the harvesting of castings and liquid tea without disturbing the active composting process occurring in the top tiers.
The kit includes essential accessories to help maintain a healthy environment for the worm colony. A dedicated meter monitors temperature, moisture, and pH levels to ensure the bedding remains hospitable. Along with the primary housing, the set provides coco coir for initial bedding and a collection of hand tools like a rake and shovel for managing the organic material.
Constructed for efficiency, this set is suitable for those new to vermicomposting who want a complete setup from the start. The compact footprint makes it manageable for use in garages, sheds, or shaded outdoor areas. By using multiple trays, the system maximizes processing capacity while keeping the footprint small enough for residential use and easy maintenance.
